What is a passkey?

A passkey is a password-free way to sign in to apps and websites. Your device confirms your identity using biometrics (fingerprint or face) or a PIN, then uses secure cryptographic keys stored locally. Supported by services like Google, passkeys are faster and highly resistant to phishing or hacking.

What is a TOTP?

A TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) is a two-factor authentication method. After entering your password, you must provide a temporary code generated by an app like Google Authenticator that changes every 30 seconds. It improves login security but still relies on passwords.

If TOTP enabled, you will be prompted for 6-digit code.
